American Wingwalking Alliance...
This Alliance is a group of airshow wingwalking teams that work together to promote an interest in aviation, to educate their audience in
the history and roots of airshows, and to inspire everyone to let their dreams take flight.  The Alliance teams also work together to
bring you the most creative and entertaining shows possible.

2005 to present

The American Wingwalking Alliance started as a group of three wingwalking teams looking to reduce advertising costs in 2005.  In 2006, the AWA took on a whole new character.  Spring of 2006 was the first collaborative training session in Chino, CA at the home airport of the Silver Wings Wingwalking Team.  Margaret Stivers has been the most influential wingwalker in Jenny's career - and an amazing teacher, mentor, and inspiration.

When that mentor called upon Jenny in the Fall of 2006 to perform atop her plane at two shows, Jenny didn't even have to think about it.  While Margi's knee was healing, Margi worked the announcer's mic and Jenny worked the wings as Hartley Folstad piloted the team through the MCAS Miramar and Edwards AFB airshows.

In 2007, another team was added to the AWA when Greg Shelton called upon Jenny to 'substitute' for his wingwalker, Ashley Battles, while Ashley pursued a career as an airline pilot.  Jenny rode the wings with Greg several times during the 2007 season, filling in whenever Ashley was unavailable.

Also, in August 2007, Jenny and Margi teamed up for more collaborative training in Chino.  See the photos below and go to the AWA site for even more photos (and video) of this dynamic duo at work.

Most recently, Jenny assisted Margi in the launch of the new Professional Wingwalkers International Network and e-Newsletter (PWIN) which helps facilitate the natural comraderie between professional wingwalkers around the globe.
