2009
2009 proved to be a wonderful year full of new experiences.  Jenny trained Tyson Rininger to be the newest American Barnstormer Double Trouble Wing Walker, she participated in a variety of shows, and even found a magnificent little airport in southern Ohio with a beautiful 220hp Stearman on which she has been honing her skills for her new skirt-droppin' comedy act she and Walt will be debuting in 2010.
2008
2008 was a difficult year for Jenny emotionally as she was watching her father lose his battle to esophageal cancer.  The photo to the left was taken just two days before he passed.
Professionally, Jenny grew as a performer and perfected the 'Daring Javelin Hang' such that it is now done by team members without the use of holding onto the lower wing or wires.
2007
2007 was the first year that Jenny had moved back home to Cleveland from Indiana where she had been working full-time at the Univ. of Notre Dame whilst pursuing her airshow endeavors.  In addition to the shows Jenny was performing with American Barnstormer and her original team, Jenny filled in for Ashley Battles as Greg Shelton's wing walker at three shows while Ashley pursued a career as a commercial airline pilot. The move  back home brought Jenny closer to family and gave her a much better appreciation for what REAL family is all about.  By early September she decided to leave the team she originally started wing walking with in 2004.
By late 2007, Jenny was 100% American Barnstormer.
2006
This is the year that Jenny began performing in air shows as a wing walker with the American Barnstormer Double Trouble team.  They debuted their act at Sun 'n Fun in April that year with Walt's granddaughter, Nicole (Rodriguez) Hansen, as the newest lady on the other wing.
Also in 2006, Jenny took part in the Al Ain Aerobatics Show (January) in the United Arab Emirates with the team she originally began wing walking with, and in the fall filled in for a wing walker in CA at the MCAS Miramar and Edwards AFB air shows after having done some training with that team earlier in the spring.  Jenny had her first cross-country experience in the Stearman with Walt and Smokey, too, traveling from South Bend IN to Nantucket and back where she performed her first solo Stearman wing walk with Walt Pierce.
2005
This year found Jenny traveling to Australia for the third airshow she ever performed in.  While there, she made her first front page photo and wowed a crowd of more than 250,000.  Shortly thereafter, she took her first walk out onto the lower wing of a Stearman and later that fall began training with Walt Pierce (American Barnstormer) and his wing walker at that time after they had asked Jenny if she would like to join them in developing a new dual wing walker act.  Jenny joined them for initial training just prior to the ICAS convention... and 'Double Trouble' was born.
2004
This was Jenny's first year as a wing walker, albeit on an odd aircraft.  She had tagged along with the team to 4 shows the two previous years and upon retirement of that wing walker, she took over the wing duties.  She drove from South Bend IN to east of Cleveland OH for training nearly every weekend from May until their first show in August.  Her very first show took place at a beuatiful little airport in Tazewell VA that was situated on a ridge and had an amazing view.  She also performed at Winston-Salem NC just a few weeks later.

2010
This year started off with a project of a whole different sort - Walt and Jenny were interviewed and filmed by Blue Chip Films for an episode of the new series, INTERSECTIONS, to be aired on SPEED Channel beginning in July.  The production crew filmed the team using a variety of cameras, including some small HD video cams that ended up mounted to the Stearman in seven different locations to catch all the action.

2010 also marked the start of a new Double Trouble routine, and a sister team with American Barnstormer.  'Team Stewart' and 'Team Pierce' took to the air in early June to begin working on this extraordinary project...
The Blue Chip Films production crew spent several days in Feb & Mar filming Walt and Jenny in action. Filming took place both from on the ground as well as from on-board cameras. The segment will feature action shots as well as interviews from the team members discussing their passion of flying and wing walking. The classic inverted pass.

Adam Haley was on site to document this project through still photos. All photos from this project can be found on his site at www.HaleyImages.com.Jenny still bends over backwards for her fans! Emerson Stewart (Cub's son/Kimmy's husband) flew the photo ship with Mike Ryerson (Ashley's dad) taking the photos.
